electric bill

hi everyone we bought our apartment - 2 years this november - we are apposite hotel kamil just opposite Anna - we can see your apartment and in fact we were there when your party was going on and the welsh couple in flat 1 of our block went to your party. My 1st question to you all is electric bills - how much do you pay for electric - all together last year we only spent 4 full weeks there and had a bill for £62 ? is this the norm ? thanks Mark & Anne Gate

Sounds like Anna has a private feed into your supply! Shes a bright spark afterall....

Joking aside, that is expensive for just 4 weeks unless you had air conditioning running lots of hours.

As Hasan says, if you fail to pay the bill on time the penalty increments monthly. If you have paid the bill timely, you must consider that maybe your supply is being tapped by a neighbour. You would be hard pressed to spend that sorta money on a electric bill over just a 4 week period.

For the past few years I know interests on penalties are not that high. But I think there can be an outstanding balance with the water meter. I mean if the water meter was active before you move into your apartment (and also if this is your first bill) it could be they've added the amount of water have been used from beginning.

Was your first bill higher - I think you could end up picking up the tab from a previous owner, unless of course you are new build.

Just a thought.

Cant guarantee that these prices are correct for your area but are valid for Tedas and shouldnt vary that much.

Moreover the thresholds are correct for the whole of Turkey.

Electricity 7am - 5pm kw/h 0.14YTL
Electricity 5pm - 10pm kw/h 0.22YTL
Electricity 10pm - 7am kw/h 0.08YTL

As you can see, the price falls significantly after 10:00pm
