By Ayla Jean Yackley and Ali Berat Meric
April 7 (Bloomberg) -- Four foreign companies have sought tender documents for Turkey's first nuclear power license since the auction was opened two weeks ago.
Potential bidders including France's Vinci SA, the world's biggest construction company, Belgium's Suez-Tractabel SA and Canada's AECL have sought the specifications, an Energy Ministry official said on condition of anonymity. The fourth company to express interest is Japanese, the official said.
The deadline for bidding is on Sept. 24. Turkey is seeking offers to build a 4,000 megawatt nuclear-power station, its first atomic plant, in the town of Akkuyu on the southern Mediterranean coast.
