That's super. Just by way of a tip. If you are lucky enough to have a washing machine which includes a timer (I have) - you should do all your washing through the night. I set mine to come on about 3/4 o'clock in the morning and when I get up I just have to hang it out! As I live in a one level flat I ensure the bedroom door is closed when I do this otherwise you can be woken with a start in the middle of the night when the machine is on the spin cycle Ha Ha. It saves quite a lot of energy this way.
