220v, most UK electrical items work fine, just need to change the plug to two pin type or use an adaptor.

Hi Mushtaq,
Is that a true 220v or an average voltage. As back in the UK most people think it is 240v when actualy it is realy 230v which then can affect your wattage if you re-wire an appliance.

hi , we are coming to stay in a villa in Uzumlu in the next few weeks . Are you telling me that my 3 pin plugs on phone chargers , battery chargers , dvd player etc . . . will not work because Turkey are 2 pin sockets everywhere ?

Just pop into a local electrical shop and buy some adaptors - or better still, bring some continental adaptors with you.

The adaptors are very cheap to buy over here. Just a couple of YTL each.

kayakoyu. thats strange ,when i was in koc tas they were about7 lire each. i looked in migros ,about the same price .here in uk you can get them cheap.
