Costs for electricity
I have read that there are 3 levels of electricity charges depending on the time of day 7am - 5pm mid rate (0.14ytl), 5pm - 10pm High rate (0.24ytl) and 10pm - 7am (0.08ytl) low rate.
I am having to conscider heating costs for the villa which is situated on a sitesi, how do they deal with the different ratings as I see only on meter and it seems very basic i.e. doesnt seem to know what time it is etc...
or is it likely that either they just take a standard rate i think its .2ytl on my sitesi.
So i guess the question is does the meter increase slower during the off peak times? or would i need a special meter to take advantage of the different costs
regards
Marc

Re: Costs for electricity
The meter slows down or speeds up according to the tarrif in force during each part of the day.

Re: Costs for electricity
So storage heaters that are charged during the night would be a sensible option, I am also looking into central heating with diesel/lpg boiler but want to explore all options first before making a descision.
