Hi we have a semi villa whu=cih is part of an 8 villa site. The site has been finished for nearly a year now but no sign of tapu.s
But my main question is the way they are charging us for water and electric. They tell us they are still on builders rates therfore charge us what they want ie for filling the pool and pool maintainace. I believe one of the reasons they have not chased up the tapu.s yet is because they can keep charging us for the electric and water. If anyone is up on this subject i can supply a few more precise details ie lectric charges and water charges
any help would be well appreciated

Michael İf the genel iskan has been completed. then there is no reason why this cant be sorted, but as you havent got the tapu you will have to ask the developer to get the water and electric in his name and change it over when the tapu comes to your name. You will probably have to pay about 100 GBP for both services and the changeover fee is about 25 GBP when Tapu is in your name. If your developer is a nice guy he will do this for you I have several customers ın same situation.
