Re: electric complex

We have our own meteres and when they are read the bill is collected by the site managment who pay the bill then we pay them, that way if no one has been to the aprtment for a while we dont get cut off for none payment.

Wink Re: electric complex

hey FT
I have my own meter by the front door. Rather cunningly I also have four dogs running about.......last week I had to go and rescue the poor meter man from the gate and escort him up the stairs I think it is wonderful the way the water and electricity are read here. England please take note! I simply receive a computer print out the same day usually tucked behind my DOOR knocker and toodle off to pay it. I dont think I have ever seen a red leccy bill here.

There's a few post on this subject try the search at the top right of the forum. I have read that until a complex is completed the electricity is run using the builders meter, this is set slightly higher, once all permission (by the builder) have been paid stamped eetc then it will revert to the owners of the the properties or to the lower rates, I am sure that there will be some complex owners who will be able to answer this fully for you.

found this link (just one of many) in the search facility by typing in complex electricity Click here to view one of many threads.
