£28000 wouldnt get you much in our area of Fethiye so we are wondering why the Bodrum peninsula is so much cheaper.
Is there any catch such as the village being isolated or well back from the coast as the lakeside and golf course setting sounds great for 28k,in fact unbelievable wow

Mumcular is in coast a bit, it's a really quiet little village but very nice, we went and had a look last time we were there You won't get that price in Bodrum etc

Yes, as Gail says, Mumcular ius 8 or 9kms inland from the coast, but I definately wouldn't say it's isolated. It has a population of 5,000 & is well serviced by Jandarma, shops, pharmacies, doctors etc. It is not ON the peninsula however, but between Bodrum & the airport.

It is also not a tourist town, with our development probably being the first which could be thought of as for tourists. The Golf courses however in the area are still not confirmed for sure. There are plans for several, one being very close to Mumcular town and I have been told that a Dutch company has definately bought the land for it. BUT, it's still not certain. We got a good price for the land in Mumcular & we just want to make a modest profit, hence the prices.

Nice presentation and it looks like a good project and congratulations for offering a 2 bed apartment for less than £40k on the Bodrum peninusular! I am sure you will have no problem selling them. Good luck

Have been looking into a place on that coast called mazi as it is simlar inthat it is unspoiled as yet.

Ah, civciv, actually it's off the Peninsula, but only 23kms from Bodrum, between Bodrum & Airport.

Paul & Emma, I actually went to Mazı for the 1st time yesterday showing a potential buyer the area. It was such a shame that the forests are burnt out. A terrible waste. The roads are great biking roads though & beautiful scenery. I'm getting the bike out tomorrow & taking another trip there.
