Megri Lokanta, Fethiye

we went there one night last week and the food was lovely. you go in and its all there cooked and you say what you want and they bring it to your table. the food was gorgeous, especially the cheesey meatball thingy mmmmmm making my mouth water just thinking of it.
its just next to the duck pond and opposite ottomon bar

Have eaten there myself many a time and cannot disagree with Jenny's comments. Good food, reasonably priced and well presented (sometimes!).

I have eaten there for years even before I moved here and it has always been consistently good.
About 3 years ago on a very rainy easter Sunday, after our meal, one of the waiters took me and my friend all the way back to Gocek where we were staying and refused any payment for petrol. What a nice guy .

There is another Megri Lokanta that situated on one of the side roads opposite the PTT. I believe it is far better than the one in the bazaar and half the price as well

Restuarants & Bars in Fethiye

Frenken Kosem restaurant near to Fethiye.

This a a lovely little restaurant, very basic, no frills, just good food and good company. Quiz nights Monday and Thursday mixture of Turkish and English very friendly.
Directions; head out of Fethiye along the coast road just before you get to Yakamoz restaurant turn right, you should have the park with the trampolines on your right the Kosem is on the corner of the crossroads.

Efes 3tl, Guvec 5tl, fish and chips english style 8ytl

Meri Motel on the main Dalaman road, past Gunlukbasi, very very Turkish, wonderful garden, clean and welcoming, you could be the only foreigner there! so hardly any English spoken. sometimes will have live music, but it is for the Turkish so dont put in a request for oasis!

Efes between 2-3ytl (depending how they are feeling) most meals are no more than 5tl but it will not be served in the european style.
New years eve like you have never experienced before!! for all you that are looking to come over the christmas period.
