Re: Places to see
Has anyone explored the Latoona peninsular,( I hope thats how you spell it,)this is the continuation of the karagozler, past the boat yard out towards Latoona holiday camp
(Hi-dee-HI) and onwards, drove around there last year, some spectaculer views, a large Turkish camping site,I didnt go much further as I was unsure as to where the road went, but looking at Google Earth,it seems to return to fethiye area.

Re: Places to see
We went for a drive along that road 3 years ago beyond letoona holiday
camp the road narrows to a very poor track (may have improved since)
there were many pretty bays with locals in them picnicing we felt
like explorers not to sure where we would end up, at one stage Adam took over the driving from our friend cause the road was only single track
we felt sure we would come out in Kaya or Gemiler bay we then rounded
a corner to find ourselves............looking down on Fethiye!
We still laugh about it

Great, so if you keep going you come back on Fethiye, its an intertesting piece of land
reputed by the locals to have a small population of bears, allthough I never spotted any.

Hello.
Unfortunately TomTom do not cover Turkey, but if you have a PDA you can use Destinator 6 software, which you can see here : Canb't leave the link here but it will appear via Google search.
The software can be bought through easydevices co.uk

Re: Places to see
hi
salikent is good been to tlos and up the river in dalan if thats how its spelt? another place was the cotton mountains but i belive the tourist arent allowed on it anymore the butterfly valley is wicked if you can walk all the way up and (if you can) climb up a steep drop of about 9 ft near the end. The ghost village in hisa is good and i also belive that the walk through the kaya to olu deniz is a good experiance as well as the horse riding up the mountain to see olu deniz from a height.
aj
Keep smiling
