Hunting License (Firearm)

Could anyone shed a light on how to apply and obtain a hunting license, I'm thinking of doing some wild boar, pheasant hunting. Thanks

Re: Hunting License (Firearm)

I have not checked in a while but it was a tit for tat case of if a Turk cannot get one in the UK then you cannot get one here. First port of call would be a local gunsmith and if you can't get any sense out of him, go to the police station and ask there.

Serious question - what pleasure do you get out of taking the life of another living animal?

Serious reply, if you had a farm you would know that vermin needs to be killed. I suppose if you had mice in your home you would let them sleep with you in your bed!!!!

Sorry ! Sorry !! Sorry !!! But when did a pheasant fall into the class of vermin ? Unless they have recategorized them they were classed as game birds and even that i find barbaric as for mice being a problem if you are clean living and keep dry food stuff in containers there should be no problem if and i say if there is a rodent problem then there are humane traps where the little things can be taken to a safe place and let loose
