Property purchase in Yaniklar
Hi
Just thought we'd report on our very recent experiences of purchasing our apartment in the Oasis Complex at Yaniklar - with Hanel Houses.
We recieved our keys last week, and have been busy furnishing our apartment.
We have found everything to be completed to a very high standard and the complex looks great (although there are still some parts of the complex, awaiting the final touches).
We have been told that the Tapu cannot be applied for until the council have inspected the site in April - when all will finally be completed.
So far we have been very happy with the service & quality of build work.

Re: Property purchase in Yaniklar
This is a bit ''pearl and dean'' given the thread on here that went on about Yaniklar developments by the same company this morning.
Anyway enlighten you say ''We have been told that the Tapu cannot be applied for until the council have inspected the site in April - when all will finally be completed.''
If you are referring to the inspection for the ''genel İskan'' why cant the Tapu application be made before that?? As all of my clients dont have to wait so if you are genuine I would be nervous of this one.

Re: Property purchase in Yaniklar
Hi,
have just read the "posts" regarding my "thread" - don't know any pearl or dean - and find the comments regarding my genuineness (if there is such a word) and integrity, both rude and unpleasant.
Having read the info regarding Yaniklar - all I was doing was relating my experiences, & the information that Hanel have given me, so far - although clearly as we haven't got our Tapu yet - we may experience problems in the future - let's hope not.
I was certainly not trying to "enlighten" anyone - Bryn - as first time buyers in Turkey - I'm sure that there are much more experienced & knowlegeable people accessing this forum.
This is only my second posting, as we only joined in January of this year, however, I'll think twice before posting any future information - if this is the "quality" and negatitivity of response.

Re: Property purchase in Yaniklar
We posted this new thread in response to requests from several members for comments from people with first hand experience regarding this issue.
We couldn't add it to the original thread, as when we read it, it had already closed - (we don't all have the time to sit and read this all day!).
We are neither defending or denegrating this property developer, (not yet anyway - if and when we receive the Tapu, we will gladly let you all know - just letting you know our experiences, so far, relating to purchasing a property on this site.

Marsha
Nice to see your posting about the complex, Could you just let us know if you used a Lawyer to buy your property??? if so is it your Lawyer and not the Agent's?? Please make sure just incase there is a problem. I hope everything work's out and you get all the permissions you need and that you do not loose any money.

The timing of your post was bit unfortunate Marsha, not your fault and I cant blame you for feeling that your integrity was being questioned. It is the nature of the beast with online forums that when an agent is heavily criticised, shortly afterwards posts appear from persons claiming to be satisfied clients supporting that agent.
Thats is why when you, as relatively new user, posted your message, a few people were initially sceptical and knowing Bryn, he'll be the first to apologise when he realises that you are a genuine buyer.
I'm pleased for you that everything has gone OK so far with your purchase. While there certainly may be a problem for the buyer who was highlighted in the locked thread, most of the huffing and puffing was one local agent deciding he had an opportunity to show another local agent in a bad light, which he did on almost every forum available.
In fact, he could have had the pick of estate agents in Fethiye as several are/were selling this Hanel development and the only reputation he ended up harming was his own.
I hope this hasn't put you off for good Marsha, there is a lot of information and help to be had on this forum and I'm sure your continued input in relation to the Oasis Complex will be welcomed by all.

Re: Property purchase in Yaniklar
Marsha,
I reiterate everything JF has said. It would be a shame to lose you over such a misunderstanding. I'm sure the Bryn and Parrot will be the first to apologise once they realise you are genuine and not and agent trying to cover his or her tracks.
Good luck with your purchase - I'm sure a big company like Hanel will be able to sort out the problem with the TAPU in Yaniklar.

Re: Property purchase in Yaniklar
Marsha I can only agree with John and Stoop do not judge the forum from what could be one misunderstanding, the timing of your posting was a little close to the very heated thread of yesterday not your fault. Good luck with your purchase I hope everything will go smoothly for you, if not the members of this forum are always there to give good advice.
