emsmiff New Member	SMA White in Olu Deniz I wonder if any of you can help me. We are travelling to Olu Deniz in June with our 5 month old baby and was wondering if anyone knows if you can buy SMA white formula in any of the shops? Would save me a lot of space in my already bulging suitcases. Many thanks, Emma

Hi, I know we were looking for baby milk a few months ago and had a lot of problems getting it (only for 2 week old puppy abandoned by mom).
There was only one sort available that we could find and I can't remember the make, but could I suggest you bring enough milk out for your holiday but put it in plastic bag to save weight of tin, and then when you are here you can check if it is available for your next visit.

Lokum New Member	Re: SMA White in Olu Deniz My daughter was on SMA gold and the only place I could find it was chemists - not in supermarkets and it was INCREDIBLY expensive. But this was Altinkum I don't know if its the same in other resorts in Turkey. We had to ask visiting friends to bring supplies for us - and be aware that they were questioned at the airports about what it was even though it was still in the sealed tin.

As a mother who for valid reason's couldn't breast feed - I don't think your comment was very helpful.

Have you considered weaning baby so that when you do arrive, you may only need one or at the most two tins for the whole holiday? I know it was a long time ago, but mine were on cows milk and tea at 6 weeks old and as they are now both 6 foot strapping monsters, it didnt do them any harm whatsoever.If you do not have the time to start weaning baby, then I can only second Pennies advise to bring enough milk out with you packed in plastic bags, but the resulting chaos at the airport may be a learning curve for you. Lokum, Rfiki is a man....of course he thinks Breast is Best. I am sure he was in no way commenting on your abilities as a mother! mkc
