Fishing Altinkum area
Hi Guys new member 
My grandad has recently bought a property in altinkum and said he will arrange fishing for when i go over (this sunday). hes only noticed people fishing for mullet and i was hoping for a bit more variety. so if anyone could give any information on species and how to catch them it would be appreciated.
also would i be able to spearfish? ive always wanted to try it out and thought this to be a good opportunity, but i cant seem to find any info thats in english about it.

You can cetch bass and bream form the beach also a few other species, best after dark though.

you can buy spear gun from most sport shops..my husband catches a lot this way.
Has your Grandad a licence?

Is spinning best for bass or baits?
no he doesnt have a licence, nor any gear. i was hoping to do this every time i go to turkey, sort of like a new hobby lol so hopefully we will get a licence and gear. will i have to get a licence as well then? and what range of prices could i expect the gear to be?

One of the best places to fish in Akbuk is,past the fish farms,and you will see on the right as you go along,dirt tracks and a place to park.There are pockets of rock coves where the fish accumulate,just use a float and the bait is shrimp.
The fish that can be caught on the float is,cupra,sea bream,sea bass,and there are many others,,but l forgot thr name of them
