Fishing in Olu Deniz

Staying in olu deniz in August 09 for 2 weeks and as I get bored sun bathing within half an hour so I either go walkabout or fishing. So any info on fishing would be appreciated.
Can you fish from the shore
Are there any day fishing boats from Olu Deniz
Is there any freshwater fishing nearby

Thanks in advance for any info

Re: Fishing in Olu Deniz

There was a tour company offering fishing trips, and I did go on one of their trips but there was only one very small tuna caught (I caught it and it was delicious). Although they had tackle I wouldn't have said the ones we went with were very good fisherman themselves.

This was a couple of years ago so things may have changed.

Regarding fishing off the beach I never saw anyone doing so however the beach is quite steeply shelving so it wouldn't take much of a cast to get some water over your bait, whether there are any fish there is another matter.
