Re: Beach fishing

When you are over here I must definitely take you to Çıne. When Chaznannie (forum member) was over here a few weeks back, they came to Çine and on the way stopped off at that reservoir I told you about - the one full of Carp. They thought it was really nice there Ken. Bring some specialist Carp gear over, and I think you will clear up.

The difference here is that the ones you catch, you can keep and sell. Locals love BBQ Carp :-)

We like to order grilled sea bream, amd as Shirley says just ask the waiter to bone it for you.
If anybody is interested, the locals catch them using a small hook with a small piecs of raw chicken.Danny

Re: Beach fishing

Gordon went fishing on a friends small boat yesterday eve off Olu Deniz and they expected to catch Baracuda, as they were in abundance the day before but they did catch something called bal balik (honey fish??) and 8-10 Calamar (Squid) apparently it is the best time to go fishing in the evening or night time and of course the winter.

Now it must be a boy thing (5 men with a combined mentality of 10yrs) Gordon said they laid down in the boat watching shooting stars and say the sky was just chock full of stars, and totally amazing, who said men dont have it easy!!!
