I decided to support turkey from the beginning (as England weren't good enough and my second home will be in Turkey). Everyone at work laughed and said "you don't know much about football - they haven't a chance".

Well Ok they lost - but what a way to go out - Yeah right I'm a women and I don;t know too much about football. but that match last night was really enthralling and exciting to watch.

Well done turkey - hope you get to the World Cup

Ps - just because - I hope whoever else gets to the final beats Germany !

I also thought Turkey was the better team on the field but just slightly. I am a hockey nut and not into football all that much but is it just me or did the Turkish goal keeper mess up on that second goal against them?

It was a good game and Turkey did very well. It was a shame that they lost out on a last minute goal and I think the final would have been better with the Turkish team playing in it. Germany were lucky on this occasion that Turkey were unlucky enough to miss one or two more of the chances they had.

I think it would have been even more of an 'unfortunate' result if Turkey had held onto the draw and then gone out on penalties.

They played a tremendous game against a poor German side and have nothing to be ashamed about!

Turkiye played a brill game - by far the better team - the Germans were very poor and VERY lucky to score the last goal - Turkiye DID deserve to win - i dont care what anyone else says !

they were the most unluckiest team of the tournament and the luckiest! LOL.
