This is true, but I blame the refs, surely if the paying public can see this the officials should be able to see it.When Giggs went down against Celtic, there was no way it was a penalty, but the ref.obviously felt obliged to give a penalty.Maybe Panorama should do a program on match officials.

Actually I don't blame the officials, they only have a split second in which to see the incident and from low level as well.
The FA should have the power to retrospectively punish players shown cheating with teams being docked points if proven that games were won by blatent cheating. Messers, Ferguson, Wenger, Mourinio (spelling I know), and others would soon clamp down on cheats within their teams if that were the penalty.

I am also born and raised in Accrington, but was raised as a Claret ( sorry again ). I take an interest in my home town team, but I cannot say I support them.

We can both be Accrington followers then, bet there is only 2 of us.
Just one or two many jumping on the bandwagon for my liking and that includes supporters of my club and yours.
How long have you been away from Accrington?

Re: Football Teams! "Whos Yours?"
Many changes in the last 15 years and not all for the best, I have an uncle born and raised in Accrington but now living in Paignton. He is still an avid fan of Stanley and travels quite a lot to see them.
Do you still get to watch our friends down the road? Obviously some away games are easier

I go to as many as poss but most are away games. My dillema at the moment is the forthcoming Torquay v Stanley as one of my sons is a Stanley fan and the other is Torquay and both want me to go with them? well done on your Norwich slaughter the other day. watched on sky. see follow lots of teams. good result for you.

Re: Football Teams! "Whos Yours?"
Sit on the halfway line with one on either side. No lose situation
Thanks for your well done wishes, I thought we played very well without getting credit from Sky who seemed to concentrate on Norwich losing rather than us winning. Jusy need to keep hold of the manager now!
Though it hurts to say, good luck in the UEFA.
