Ilica Park

Hi,

Anyone out there with an apartment in the Ilica Park complex (situated next to Four Seasons and Spring)?
Would love to meet with some new neighbours there. I visited last week and it is looking fabulous.

Re: Ilica Park - Merhaba

Hi Els and Janice

Nice to stumble across some other owners at Ilica Park.

We have just returned from Ilica and it was good to see the grass growing and the trees and shrubs in place. I believe the pool pumps are being delivered/installed this week !!!!

Work on the roads has started at last and the main road up from the roundabout to Four Seasons is being loc-blocked this week so that will make a big difference. I wonder when they will get 'our' road done !!!

It would be nice to here how you are getting on with moving in etc.

Re: Ilica Park - Merhaba

Merhaba Ilica Park,

Nice to meet another neighbour!!

Good to hear things are coming along nicely. I believe the road from Four Seasons to us is not scheduled for at least another year. I suppose the Belediye is taking it in easy stages. But as long as it is at least levelled a bit it should not be too much of a problem.

We have sort of moved in (bought furniture etc.) but as the guy who installed the washing machine drilled straight through a water pipe, part of the apartment was flooded and now everything needs drying out and painting again, so let's say the finishing touches will have to wait! Still, we are quite used to this sort of thing happening, as this is our third property in Turkey.

Janice is in Turkey right now I believe, so hope she will give us an update when she gets back. Whereabouts in Ilica Park do you live?

Re: Ilica Park

Hi Els

Our apartment is at the front with a beautiful view over the valley and mountains. We did not stay in the apartment when we were over as we were choosing furniture, lights, etc.

I notice from the forum that you have more than one apartment - how many do you have and where in the complex are you?

Hopefully Janice will have a great time and report back when she gets a chance. I know of at least two other owners who are from the U.K. so maybe they will stumble across this little group as well.

Re: Ilica Park

Ours is the E-block duplex. I think the architect has positioned the buildings very cleverly, so that we all have these breathtaking views!

We also have two duplexes and two apartments in D, which we are planning to let, preferably long term, either furnished or unfurnished. I am still trying to find out how best to go about this. I have so far advertised them with lets-go-side.com but if that does not work out I may have to consider holiday lets.

Anyway, hope we will be found by some other neighbours. Keep in touch!

Re: Ilica Park

Hi Janice,
The fact that the electric keeps going is quite normal for this area, but apparently a generator has been ordered and should arrive in about six weeks. Any idea why the pool won't be ready for a while? I was told the pumps etc. were being installed last week?
best regards
Els

Janice

Glad you are enjoying your holiday - we miss the area so much and can't wait to be back.

What is Kipa like compared to Migros? Do they have a different range of stuff? We have been to Metro, KocTas and the Migros 5M centre in Antalya but have never made it to Kipa.

Hope things get sorted for you and that the pool is ready before you have to leave.

Re: Ilica Park

Hi Janice,
Hope you enjoying your holiday in your new home!
We were told our duplex would be repainted today due to the flooding after the installation of the washing machine last month. Did you happen to see any activity?

Re: Ilica Park

Hello. We saw no activity but who knows. The pool has been cleaned and pumps have arrived but nothing else. Were not hopeful that a pool will be open before we go home. Weve met 2 other English families staying this week. They seem to have as many problems as we have. Weve met with İrfan the builder and hes agreed to put inwifi to els apartment or ours for us allto use. Not sure what this means or will involve. Weve also been told there is no car parking space and where we thought therewould be parkıng wıll now have apartment blocks built on hem. Anyone know any more.

Anyway were having a good time. Been to Aspendos today. Costs 15 ytl per person. Internet cafe ın İlİca ıs very good....
