Where to buy Nicknacks

Having spent last week rummaging through lots of side streets in Manavgat, most enjoyable, I was unable to find any modern large wall art or canvasses.
Several people mentioned I should visit Alanya or Antalya. On my next visit I am hoping to do day trips any ideas which areas in Antalya I can find shops selling ornaments and prints or canvasses.
Also as this will be my first winter staying in Turkey I have dual air con and heating, what would people recommend I buy in terms of extra heating.
Thanks all, I know you'll have some great ideas.

Re: Where to buy Nicknacks

We just use our aircon and have a gas fire for downstairs but only have it on on a low setting once the aircon has warmed the lounge up. Luckily we get the sun in all day so even in the winter it gets cold but not freezing inside.

As to pictures, ornaments etc, there are a couple of picture shops near to Genpa in Side, Koctas also does canvas prints. Personally I don't have many ornaments as they only collect dust!!! - the ones I have came from the UK.

If your looking for some modern style artwork, I noticed the had quite a bit in the 'Settee' furniture shop just past the turning to Manavgat opposite Migross on the D400. It wasn't cheap, but looked good.
