San we got ours from Istikbal and it is very soft and comfortable but we did pay for it. If I was you I would get up to Izmir as they are cheaper and lots more choice. I'm sure you will find one there!

Re: why are they so hard

I bought a lovely 4 piece very soft suite from BELLONA in Bodrum - think they have shops in most big resorts- also Istikbal have some lovely suites --- but i agree with you that they are certainly NOT cheap any more
Happy shopping

We got our nice soft one from Kelebek, but know what you mean when we were shopping around some of the sofa's were like sitting on planks.

Re: why are they so hard

My friends in Bodrum also bought a beautiful, and VERY comfortable, leather suite from Bellona in Bodrum. When I bought mine, I was also disappointed in how hard they all were, the sales people must have thought I was crazy, as I went round all the shops sitting on the chairs to see if I found a comfortable one ( Gaziantep), in the end one shop agreed to change the filling in the cushions, and took me to a workshop where I tested the foam by sitting on each type lol.

Re: why are they so hard

Since you are fairly close to \Izmir, I would go up there, as Gail said, there are tons and tons of shops up there.....and you could also try the Ikea.....
good luck to you!

Re: why are they so hard

I bought my suite of furniture from Bellona in Bodrum. Like a lot of people, I chose the suite due to its softness. I agree, it can be difficult to find 'soft' furniture. I think it is a case of shopping around.
