Bedding chest

Has anybody seen the like of a bedding chest ( or something similar )in Altinkum ? We are looking for something to lock clothes, personal effects away in.
We dont have the transport means to travel to Izmir which would be the obvious place to look.

I enquired about getting one made, like in reverse with the doors on the back (locking) and the front with nice panels and also wheels on it for easy access. the idea was to sit the TV on it but could lock my own stuff away when not there.
I was quoted £110 but never got around to it.

That's a super idea, bet you may get it cheaper if you shopped around carpenters (when considering the bargains Gail got)

I know of a friend who bought a larger wardrobe than was necessary and the shop put a lock in one of the doors for her.

No good if you have already bought I know but something to bear in mind if buying in the future.

It's not in Altinkum, but in Fethiye I am sure that Altinkum must have what I call the 'workers'area.Ours is with all the garages and paint shops. You should be able to find a local carpenter who knocks up these things on a day to day basis [}][8D]I do all my shopping there, armed with my faithfull Argoose catalouge and they re-produce exactly what I want.Good luck in locating one.[}][8D]

There are a couple in Akbuk, they done a good job on our restaurant. I'm sure there are quite a few in Altinkum.

If you can't find anyone, contact kaya on the forum and he will be able to put you intouch with the guy, he does not speak English, but just show him the picture and he will make it, his prices are good too.
