I have a netgear wireless router how do I make the network secure

Re: how to secure network

Somewhere within the configuration page of your router there should be security set-up option.

Look for something like "enable WEP", The router should generate a 16 digit "WEP key", (make a note and/or copy it, Ctrl + C)

Go into your wireless network settings and under encryption type, enable WEP. You have to put in the 16 digit key into the settings and save. You will need to install the WEP key onto all computers within your network.
