Question HELP-how to do a folder?

with all the veggie recipes that are coming on the forum, i thought of putting them all together in a folder for ease of use, but i don't have a clue how to do this. can anyone explain in 'idiot speak' please? bearing in mind that i'm thick where computers are concerned!!! thankyou so much.

Re: HELP-how to do a folder?

problem doing it that way is' i'll end up with the whole thread, rather than just the recipe.
maybe copy and paste would do it, but again, i'm ignorant about how to do that!!

Re: HELP-how to do a folder?

Highlight the recipe then click Edit, then Copy. Open up your Word (or similar) programme and click Edit, then Paste. You can then save this into a Recipe folder. Once you have done Paste, you can alter the spacing, give it a title, add or delete bits etc. before saving to the folder.

it won't work, Maisie, the edit button doesn't show on the post. only shows on a post by the poster!

Highlight the post. Right click (click on the right hand mouse button). Click on "copy". Go into word and on a new sheet right click again and click "paste".

Re: HELP-how to do a folder?

The Edit button is on the Menu bar at the top of your screen. I tried Harem's method, but Copy does not appear as an option when I right click. Perhaps different operating programmes are different.
