Avea Dongle

I use an Avea dongle as back up when TTNet goes down (which it does quite often!). Now this may sound a silly question...but does anyone know how I check how much credit I have?

Re: Avea Dongle

We sometimes use a dongle {turkcell] and we can find out how much credit we have when we log on to use it. When the vinn box comes up on screen you have an option there to check what usage you have left. But of course you lose that credit if you haven't used it in the time specified time limit.....which i think is so unfair. If you put money on it you should be able to use when ever you want to without losing it.

This is the same with lots of these foreign special offer sim top up cards . Some say reallly cheap calls to Turkey ,but when you check them out you have to top up within so many days or lose what you have on there . Thats why i like Lebara as you only have to make 1 call in 12 months to keep it active & not lose any money that you have put on the sim .

Re: Avea Dongle

Well there are many many deals and companies within the UK, but unfortunately here in Turkey there isn't much competition. Will these companies here get a shock if Turkey ever joins the EU.

very good deal if you live in Turkey . No good to me as i only go there on Hol. Quite a few people her in Uk are giving up their home phones [land line ] & just having a mobile as the rent is around £14 a month ,so to get a deal like that virgin one with all those free mins for £16 a month it is hardly worth having a home phone any more .

I topped up at my local Avea shop this morning and asked the guy there......all he said was check via your laptop. I've looked everywhere on the Avea software but no where does it tell me how much I have left. Somebody must know how to check!!
