Went to the hospital today getting the go ahead for operation to cure me comprises of a needle pushed through my cheek into th nerve it's going to happen in a few weeks time can't wait to get it over with hope they give me an anisthetic

Let us no how you get on, my mum is having the same op, but not till end of November, at the moment she is having a full on attack, the pain is so severe she talks about 'ending the pain her way' can't begin to imagine what she is going thru' !

tell to take tegretol prolonged release tabs 200 mg 3 in morning 3 at night it does cut the pain down

I am appalled that in a highly taxed country like the UK people have to suffer such pain for long periods.

A while ago I had a stomach rupture which caused acid leaking into my abdomen. I went to a local private hospital and the GP referred me to a specialist that I saw 30 minutes later. Within one hour I had been admitted and had the laser ops the next day. 100% successful and total cost including all meds and aftercare was less than £400.

Maybe we should start a medical tourism industry in Ukraine Ė just donít expect the all the latest shiniest med equipment though
