Adblocker message

Can anyone tell me how to get around the adblocker message that is preventing me from watching channel 4 on demand please? Ive had it before many times but just refreshed the page and it went and played but now seems to not be going anywhere, just repeats itself. Ive tried restarting and also CCleaner , still the same.
Any ideas you smartypants chaps here?

Although I maybe guessing here because I don't have the full info, can you not disable the adblocker for that particular website/app?

An increasing number of websites now detect if an adblocker is running and ask you to disable it before you proceed. They state that since advertising is essential for their existence, you should not block the adverts.

Are you watching it via a tablet, computer, Andorid box and/or Kodi?

What adblocker are you using?

Channel 4 live have started to track the location settings on your computer in addition to the IP address.

You could try the following:

Go into your computers "Control Panel". In the "Location" regional settings tabs, make sure everything is set to match the United Kingdom e.g

- set time zone to GMT-0 (London, Dublin..)

- check if the clock shows correct time for GMT-0

- restart the computer (important)

In the Chrome browser settings (I am not that familiar with Chrome) try to disable all location tracking in the privacy settings.

If all else fails, you could try this website:

DA, TV Catchup is not Catch Up it is the same as FilmOn but with a lot less Channels; the OP is wanting on demand TV.

I would suggest using a different browser in the first instance such as Firefox or Opera.

If you get the same message after using one or both of the above you know something has not attached to Chrome.

If you are on Windows 10 then you could try using Microsoft Edge (or Internet Explorer) but they also have a very good free App in the store called All 4, it is quite a good app and free but you will still need your VPN enabled. Box Sets are good.

Demand 5 App is okay if you watch Channel 5 and like US series.
