KODI on Raspberry Pi 3 awesome

Hi Guys

Just wanted to introduce and seduce you Kodi users onto the latest method of streaming content.....basically you buy a small computer board the size of a credit card for 30 its WiFi and Bluetooth enabled also QUADCORE 64bit.

The only bits you need after that is a Keyboard or Mouse to operate along with a modern Phone charger Lead and an HDMI lead to connect and boot up.....most of us already have those so saves you additional cost to run this beauty on 1080p streaming content.

Last piece of the jigsaw is a NOOBS micro SD card with LibreELEC to run Kodi it costs 6 and a little case cover to keep it tidy 6.....or leave it bare if you wish.

So for 42 you have the equivalent of a Windows 10 computer in a box to stream content.....it is rock solid and totally Kodi focused

Here is where you can get it......https://thepihut.com/products/raspberry-pi-3-model-b

I upgraded my 2016 Xmas Pi2 with a wifi dongle and ANY REMOTE dongle for 25.

This is the cheapest way to stream content.....at least you know what you are getting and sure in the knowledge it is not a cheap Chinese cloned device

By the way.....once up and running you can do away with the keyboard and mouse and use a Bluetooth remote/Mouse or Bluetooth keyboard to operate it.

Re: KODI on Raspberry Pi 3 awesome

Hi John

Its a lightweight system and perfect for running Kodi.....1gb of ram is more than powerful enough to run applications.

It is not possible to overclock the ram on the Pi3

The Micro SD card comes with Raspian....OpenElec and LibreElec.....Raspian is perfect for projects like running robots or toys and a great tool for teaching children coding.

I have a link here for understanding what the system can do rather than me taking up space here to convert you...lol.....https://libreelec.tv/

Its ready to go from the NOOBS SD card....you can have Areswizard running and streaming within 15 minutes of starting from scratch.....Streaming is the secret for this system....you can download if you wish it would be a case of installing a lager GB SD card to move the content to the side.

Also available for those resident in Turkey from N11.com, a few quid dearer thought but all the add-ons are available too.
