Re: Upper/lower case gremlins

Not the same problem, but the problem I 'used to have' was with the cursor jumping all over the place when typing was my typing would en-up being jumbled about with sentences mixed into the wrong place.

I discovered it to be a mouse driver problem and as I use a USB mouse I now have the touchpad 'DISABLED 'in the Mouse settings' when using a corded mouse and that solved the problem.

OR just try turning off the touchpad with the blue Hotkey Function (Fn) + F9 (different keyboards may be a different F9 setup. But worth a try if using a corded mouse.

This is obviously a real worry to the world, ha ha. In the grand scheme of things, does it really matter as long as we can read the post?

YES it does matter,

Because there are those of us who like to try and get or typing/grammar correct, although as with my typing anomaly it does not always happen.

Re: Upper/lower case gremlins

Unfortunateley, when I got this laptop, I didn't notice it was loaded with windows 7 home premium instead of ultimate
I only use the touchpad and it's annoying as hell that the sh1te windows touchpad has no way to slightly de sensitize it so the cursor doesn't jump all over the place
It simply refuses to let me alter the registry to put synaptics touchpad in it which would cure the jumpiness
Nice one windows, you turds

Not necessarily, it is a Synaptics touchpad that I have which gives me my problem and there is no updated driver to solve my problem.

Re: Upper/lower case gremlins

I used a synaptics for 3 years with no problems, got this lappy a few days before we moved to Didim, not thinking that google would purposely block me from using a synaptics (in which I could very slightly de sensitize the cursor so it didn't jump all over the place)
Every time I downloaded the new driver, if kicked it out and re downloaded the absoluteley crap google one
