Re: Google Drive

After this week's revelations about sharing data I am surprised that people are not suspicious of these huge American companies. There is no such thing as a free lunch. I certainly will not be sharing anything except my sandwich.

Re: Google Drive

I don't want to share anything more with google than I already do
They are one of the worst companies in the world for customer service

I contacted google maps the end of January (for the 5th time) , telling them they have our road mis-named ......got an email back then nowt all 5 times .....useless

Re: Google Drive

I must agree with the above comments.

I played with Google Drive and wasn’t greatly impressed – imo a 2Tb external drive is more secure and much cheaper in the long run.

I use a couple of hard drives that I took out of old desk tops, bought an adapter off ebay for under £10 and store on them 2 or 3 times a year and then put them away for safe keeping.

I have an old Virgin skybox thingy which I believe contains a hard drive so might try and get that out and use it for further storage.
