Re: Edge saying TLF is not secure

Even on Chrome and Firefox it says the connection is not fully secure.

I think it's because some elements (parts) of the page are not defined as https (secure/encrypted) .... generally it's graphics that are referenced (linked to) using an http (non secure) link.

Cannot say for sure because I'm using a tablet and you need a PC/laptop browser to analyse.
Usually I'd click on the top right to get to settings/options and there is one saying 'view source' or something like that (depends on the browser) ... then I'd search the source for an http link.

I know the above is technical so ideally it needs the admin to do it as they have access to fix it.
Mods might be able to locate the problem but I doubt they have access to fix it.

Re: Edge saying TLF is not secure

Further checking it looks like it might be the Norton and McAfee graphics at the bottom of the page.

I found:

And
http://turkishliving.com/forums/files/mcafee.gif

Maybe the Mods or Admin can check this.

Re: Edge saying TLF is not secure

This mod is not technical, but can whip up a great curry.

Re: Edge saying TLF is not secure

We are on a very old forum system, which hasn't been updated for a number of years.

It is on my list of things to do, but the change would mean a complete move to another system and I have been reluctant to make that move as it would mean a totally different look and feel to the forum.

It might be time to finally undertake this project, soon as I find some spare time I will do the changeover.
