I haven't heard of it in our area near Yalikavak Shirley, but we're out there next week, so will ask. We actually bbq up on the top on our terrace, but we did have a Turkish family, lovely family who rented the apartment below us last July and they used to BBQ on the balcony, we were usually out at the time so the smoke didn't bother us.
