cheesecake....

hi, what biscuits can i use as cheesecake base? i can't seem to find marie biscuits or graham crackers. i have always seen in kipa / migros is potibor, petit or sandwich biscuits.
is labne similar to cream cheese?
do share if you have easy baked / chilled cheesecake recipes...

i often make white chocolate baked cheesecake and use labne where it asks for cream cheese and i use oatmeal biscuits for the base usually eti burcak yulafli biscuits. turns out really well. just adapt any usual recipes to this.

the bıscuıts are called YUVALİ I thınk wıth lıttle pıcs of wheat ears on them---make the bıscuıt base then mıx 1 packet labne thoroughly wıth half a jar of jam--then just swırl the other half through the mıxture---spread onto bıccy base and chıll

I use the same biscuits as EnglishDelight for the base and for the topping 1 tub of Kaymak from Bim, it comes in a round tub and is just like clotted cream - not to be confused with Kaymak yoghurt. Mix the Kaymak with Labne, add the zest and juice of a lemon and some sugar. Pop in the fridge - delicious.

All ingredients are available from Bim at about half the price of Migros or Carrefour.
