Re: Digestive Biscuits

Apparently talks are underway at the moment for the sale of Kipa to Migros. The Tesco-owned Turkish Kipa has been losing vast amounts and Tesco have been keen to offload it.

Re: Digestive Biscuits

We have had mcvities plain and chocolate for ages (well since the middle of last year and yes they are smaller ) we also can get tins of pork luncheon meat (got one in the fridge right now) and big tins of pork shoulder and the local pork shop got a big piece of bacon in which we got, shared with friends of ours, cut in half and boiled (the bacon, not the friends), that did around 4 meals
We can even get pies and proper sausages delivered to our door

Re: Digestive Biscuits

Really funny , we have excellent Indian , Bangla , Italian , Polish and Spanish deli's in Woking , not a single pie shop.

I love pies.

Re: Digestive Biscuits

The last "Do" we went to in Tyldesley was a silver wedding , a couple who live at the top end of our old avenue at a brand new rugby clubhouse (not what you would think....REALLY posh)
The buffet was AMAZING ! massive king prawns , salmon, quiche , salady stuff then the meat section (I am actually drooling thinking about it)...they had proper boiled ham, ruddy great thick slices of it , roast beef (again, proper stuff and thick slices), then pork pies, sausage rolls , hot cornish pasties and MEAT pies (this is actually beef cooked in a pie)
I must look like a greedy bugger because I had a piece of each and a solitary barm cake for show

THEN....... about 45 minutes later , another table was set up with sweet cakes etc .needless to say I went home full
