Full English ?

An absolute disgrace

full english.jpg

How can anyone try and pass that off as a Full English ? there's only 4 sausages and triangle toast !

Must be Yorkshire or Essex judging by the gammon on the plate.

Re: Full English ?

The contents of a full English, bacon, sausages, eggs, black pudding, baked beans, tomatoes and mushrooms, toast

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Full_b...er%20conserves.

The eggs and tomatoes and beans should never be in contact with each other, never ever hash browns, there should be a pool of bacon fat on the plate to dip your toast in at the end and despite what people think, this is the one and possibly only delectable dish that Mancunians never put gravy on.

Did your great grandad have baked beans with his breakfast? Never, an American invention.

The Humble baked bean may well stem from the Americas, but it was from before America was invented and nurtured by English colonialists.

Plus they are made in Wigan now.

Re: Full English ?

Over here we had breakfast sausage, a sleeve of sausage meat with a core of sage and onion stuffing, sadly no longer available--so I make my own

I alternate with making 2lb of sausage slice[Lorne] Skills learned in Turkey.

Sweet little fellas, just batch cooked 32 tattie cakes, four, skillet fried with 2 fried eggs on top, a bit fruity sauce, fast breaking heaven
