Re: The Bells, the bells

Probably it's the only time he gets a shower, after he has installed one.
I guess the bell ringer and the plumber are very busy!

Re: The Bells, the bells

There are only real people bell ringers when there's a mass

Fair enough that seems to be about a dozen times a week and those bell ringing sessions are in addition to the " time now is" ones

The butcher. ( who is the plumbers brother by the way) explained to me he can tell who's ringing the bell just by the way it sounds. Impressive or what!!!

I don't know about Trumpton, it sounds more like Sesame St. Have you bumped into Big Bird yet?

Re: The Bells, the bells

I think you’ve got it lucky Philip.

In the Seychelles there’s a church that strikes every quarter – then strikes again a few minutes later for those that didn’t hear it the first time (true).

Re: The Bells, the bells

Cannot wait to hear the craic about the local estate agent, whose ears are probably ringing ..the local dentist I am sure is a scoundrel ....and only a matter of time before he is named and shamed.
