Re: Dolmus in Gundogan?

Hi George and Judy
Welcome to the Forum !
There is a dolmus from the bus station in Gundogan to about a mile from Arinna 2. Then you have to walk. At the moment they are running about every one hour 20 minutes but may get more frequent from this weekend as the Turkish schools have started their holidays and more Turkish people will be on holiday.
Winter the dolmus are less frequent.
I live and work in Gundogan, so if you need any more info I am more than happy to help.
You may want to look at the seperate section on this Forum named 'Arinna 2' and get in touch with some of the other owners on that complex( if they are not already in touch with you.)
Happy to help
Lynne

Re: Dolmus in Gundogan?

Good morning Lynn
Thank you for your offer of assistance, I'm sure we will take you up on it as we are, as yet, unfamiliar with the area. Good to know that there is a dolmus up the hill.
Regrads

Re: Dolmus in Gundogan?

Gonna bump this old thread!

I'm landing in Bodrum at around 11PM in a few weeks, and I need to get home. I know there are 24hr buses from the airport to Bodrum proper, but are there 24hr buses from Bodrum to Gundogan? And from there I need to get to my house which is on the road towards the Baia hotel. I know there's a dolmus during the day but i'm not sure about at 2 or 3 am - is the best bet to take a taxicab for the mile or 2 journey? What kinda prices do they charge?

Thanks

Overmars try Resort Hopper I just checked - for example 3rd July = 5.50 sterlıng p/person ın a shared mınıbus (they charge 1.50 card handlıng too) so 7 quıd can't go wrong - no?

OR prıvate (1-4 persons) 37.50 - all the best JIm.

Re: Dolmus in Gundogan?

That looks great, i've just been looking at their website. It says an hour to get to Gundogan bus terminal, which is really convenient. Are the local buses still running at around midnight, do you know what time stop running? Otherwise i'll have to get a taxi.

Re: Dolmus in Gundogan?

Hi ,
From June 17th dolmus from Bodrum to
Gundogan runs every 30 mins until 5am.
It is 5 Turkish Lira. Dolmus from bus station
up past Baia -Kizilburun area is every 30 mins also but last one
is midnight it is 2 Turkish Lira. There are taxis
24 hours at the dolmus station and it
is 25 Turkish Lira to Herodot which is a good bit up
past the Baia.
