Re: NHS now for some ex-pats

About time that expats got recognised for all their Nat Ins payments and that free healthcare isn't available to the world and his brother. Really pisses me off that Im paying for someone else to enjoy the care I've paid for and if I want decent care I have to pay for it.

Re: NHS now for some ex-pats

This has always been the case for ex-pats in receipt of the State Pension, who had more than 10 years of NI contributions prior to their retirement.

Let them suffer the kind of discrimination we Brits have had to put up with in our own country for years!!!!!!!!!!!!

It covers you for any treatment whilst you are back visiting the UK provided you have lived in Britain for 10 consecutive years previously. However it does not cover you for pre-planned treatments, only any which arise whilst you are there.
It also covers your spouse if they are travelling with you even if they are not receiving a State pension.
