Bubble Bath

Does anyone know how to clean the jets of a bubble bath?

The problem is that if water is inadvertently left in the jets, next time the bath is used there's quite a rancid smell, which soon disappears.
I have heard that this may lead to Legionnaire's Disease.
I do hope not.

Re: Bubble Bath

I would suggest a rinse through with bleach added to the water before you empty the bath. My favourite however is white vinegar, which will do the same thing and is less toxic. Treat it like a mini swimming pool.

Re: Bubble Bath

I immerse our shower head as Immac says in white vinegar , it does dissolve all deposits , then a clean with detergent and a slosh out with diluted bleach to complete the job.

I would not pump cleaners through the system , merely a very dilute bleach solution and then loads of water to clear.
