Mobile phones for the hearing impaired.

My friend (yes, my friend! ) is partially deaf and has a problem using a regular mobile phone.

Does anyone perhaps know of a reasonably priced phone suitable for the hearing impaired?

I can't remember the make but I got one for my elderly mother a few years ago. I don't think it was specifically for the hard of hearing but the sound was better than my smartphone and it had larger numbers and lit up well for alerting of a call. It also had a torch a radio and a panic button too. There may be something very similar out there for your friend. Hope you find it.

Re: Mobile phones for the hearing impaired.

The Galaxy 8 claims to have a greater volume but at $950 !!!

But many cell phones have a headphone jack so Iím thinking of trying a good quality earphone along with an HTC White.
