hi everyone just arrived back from Dalaman had a great time ,meet lots of new people did not stop all week. Dalaman town is buzzing we now have a new butchers two new bistros one called I Touch which is very modern packed every time we went there the other bistro is down by the market not open yet but looks good from the outside, shopping centre starting to take shape now should be ready for the summer also a new cake shop and the supermarket tevas has been refurbished it sells alot more things now and looks great . Met a great couple Paul and Carole very handy couple to known if you need any hellp with anything or advice they happen to have a villa for sale very big 3 bedroom it is behind the Opet station on the Fethiye road only six apartments sharing one pool contact dalid69 still no news about the golf went around there golf appts going up possibly o9 now also drove to bodrum in 3hours p.s debbie did you get my email address alan &sue

Hi Alan & Sue,we enjoyed meeting you and always happy meeting new people especially people who live in Dalaman and take an interest in promoting the area,as you say Dalaman is a very up and coming place to be with no need for long journeys once you land,granted there are many gorgeous places all over turkey but Dalaman is a great base to start exploring from.

Thank you for the latest update on Dalaman town, going out in April for 2 weeks and then 6 weeks in the summer so look forward to seeing the new shops and resturants. We are from White Rock.

Hi PDM, you will be quite suprised with the progress now on the high st,the shopping centre is gaining new shops almost daily and they have now completed a road almost all around it with the kerbside lamposts.

I woould estimate another couple of weeks and it should look quite good,i hope we get some top brand shops coming to put Dalaman on the map.

Hi dalid69 as much as I am a shopaholic, I wouldnt want the high street changed to drastic with brand shops, I quite like the way it is, with just about being able to get the essentials what you need. I save the big store shop for when I go to Izmir or Bodrum. The new cake shop sounds great though.
