I know how you feel. There are 12 properties by us at Olivium, and I know I've mentioned TLF to over half of the owners, but can't get any more than the one couple whom we already know!
Some other forums have a bad name and if people try those first they are unimpressed and therefore not interested.
I had a superb Turkish evening (gorgeous three course meal followed by very unusual yummy sweets that I had not had before so much to learn!) at my Turkish Teachers students' house. Mentioned "this forum........" they all groaned. However, I proceeded against the critiscm and then mentioned Shirley's language notes, which my teacher backed up as extremely helpful! So might have talked them round will find out later as we have each others email now.
So the best bet is to spread the word whenever you are out there! Good luck
