Re: Anyone enjoy knitting?
Hi there
I haven't knitted since my nan used to get me to do a few rows when i was very young, but would like to learn. I'm determined to give up smoking in the new year and having something to do with my hands is a big part of my habit.....knitting might be a good way to keep occupied! Any pointers on where/how i could learn? I can always get my mum to send me over a book if anyone can reccomend anything?
Thanks
Karen

Re: Anyone enjoy knitting?
Yes, gone back to knitting again after a few years, just made two jumpers and am about to start on some socks and some indoor bootees to keep my feet and ankles warm in the winter. I am going to enjoy myself choosing wool from the vast variety on sale here. I get patterns from eBay but I am sorry that I gave so many away when I moved here.

Re: Anyone enjoy knitting?
Mrs KKOB ( Jennie ) does a lot of knitting and has got lots of English patterns. She says she'll be happy to give you some lessons Karen.
Perhaps we should start a knitting pattern library in the local area?

Re: Anyone enjoy knitting?
Hi, haven't done much knitting in recent years but used to enjoy it. My husband still has one or two of my creations. I don't seem to have the time now. I believe knitting has become quite a trendy hobby again. Post some pics of your creations for us to admire.
