Ha Ha - theres a franchise over here operating out of Ankara but they have small boutiques all over Turkey called D&P.
(Now dont confuse this with the street sellers rubbish)
They sell 2 different sizes from a range of over 100 Ladies & Gents Perfumes/Aftershaves and they are superb.
Cost is around 9 lira for a large and 5 lira for the small. Same price for all.
How do they get away with it? They dont sell any carton with the atomiser and they dont have any fake markings on the bottles. Just the trade name D&P.
Well worth buying a few to try out if you spot one of their shops.

We use the one in Fethiye. Good range of products and as Merv says - they do not pretend to be fakes - they sell prefumes in the style of the brand names and packaged very simply which must also help keep the costs down. Need to get some more when next over.

Re: Cigarettes & Food Prices - Bodrum Airport?
For anyone interested in setting up a small business over here, D&P are always on the lookout for new members to join their franchise.
The only qualification being that there mustnt be another franchisee in the same area as where you intend to operate. I dont have the phone number but if you make a single purchase from one of the D&P shops, the platic bags they give you are printed with all the shops and their locations as well as the head office number in Ankara.
Just an idea

Re: Small Business Opportunities in Turkey?
It's no problem working here. A little research, a little money, all legal and you can work.

Rafiki, I don't see any need to place anything in my signature. My company is nothing to do with real estate, and I have never placed a post on the forum offering help with real estate. I am not looking to gain business from any of my posts.
I have now amended my profile, hopefully this will stop anyone thinking I am using the forum for financial/business reasons.
