Cool Turgutreis Apartment for rent

Hi all

I have a lovely 2 bed apartment which I just completed on in October with shared pool and absolutely stunning views of Kos for rent in the Karabag area of Turgutreis - only £120 per week plus electricy. The apartment has plasma air con, fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops, lovely bathroom (shower only), 2 double bedrooms, fab cream suede modular sofa (not the most practical piece of furniture but irresistable) - with balcony off lounge and also off master bedroom (for those Shirley Valentine moments) I have attached some photos.

Regards

Helen

Helen it looks lovely and a very good price also. Good luck with the rental, you should do very well as the rent is very reasonable.

Re: Turgutreis Apartment for rent

Thanks Gail - means a lot! To be honest, I hadn't planned to rent this one out (or I wouldn't have bought a cream suede sofa!) but the 3 bed 2 bath orange grove duplex that I am buying with the intention of renting out is still not finished so I am struggling to pay a mortgage and also monthly accountancy fees for my Turkish Limited Company (just paid a hefty year end bill!) so I can't afford to be precious about it! Actually, its a really long story - but I never intended to buy two properties and it came about because I thought Karabag had sold (because the developers never got back to me for 2 weeks after I returned to the UK) and I therefore decided to proceed on the orange grove property which I had stumbled across quite by chance (a chance meeting at Mona Lisa bar with Ted who was in partnership with the developer). Then, the day after I transferred a 80% deposit to the orange grove developer, the Karabag developer got in touch to say still available! I couldn't stop thinking about Karabag views and decided to remortgage my UK house so I could buy it. So now, I will try to rent the orange grove property when it is finished to help with the mortgage and accountant's fees (I've attached a few photos of how the orange grove development looked when I was there in October). I have got myself in a bit of a mess really - but it is exciting and I am hopeful for the future. In fact, may sell UK house next year and buy a third property - with a view to moving out year after next.

I hope you are happy to be back in Turgutreis and that you are enjoying catching up with friends in Turkey. I hope you have a lovely Christmas and a great 2007!

Helen I have sent ou a PM.

Helen I bet you are quite near to us, our place is to the right of the new Hawthorn Hotel, to the right and a little further down. karabag is lovely, it's so quiet up there and still very Turkish which we love. Good luck with your rentals Helen, I'm sure you will do well as your price is brilliant.

Hi Gail

I can't be far from you then - up the hill on right hand side of the road just up from Hawthorn and near the mosque - has the RedSky banner in the hillside. Apparently, the old lady who lives in the little house by the mosque and whose son is a taxi driver makes pancakes every Friday which you cover with sugar and lemon from the lemon trees in her garden. You couldn't dream anything better could you?

Hope you enjoyed Amsterdam!

Take care

I know where you are Helen, the views up there are to die for. I'm sure if you get people tp rent they will come back year after year. Amsterdam was great we had a really good time.

Jen

Yes, it is now fully furnished + linen etc thanks to Lynne! How many would there be in your party - there are 2 double bedrooms - both with double beds?
