2 bed apartment, centre of Turgutreis
Hi All
We have a 2 bed apartment in the centre of Turgutreis, in the Saturday market street, 100 m up from Ola24 - for those who are familiar with the town. Its literally a 5 minute stroll to the beach and 2 minutes to all the bars and restaurants.
Presently the place is unfurnished, but I am going over at the end of June to buy all the furniture etc.
But, by the end of June it will have:
table, chairs,Fridge, freezer, gascooker, sleepercouch in living room, 2 single beds in 2nd bedroom and a doublebed in main bedroom, and all the other bits and pieces needed to have a comfortable stay!
Air-con? Definitely!
There's a shared swimming pool, and a BBQ.
And, all the windows have burglar guards installed.
The bathroom has a basin, toilet and shower. (no bath, not that you'd want to have a bath in the summer heat!)
Its in a small private complex (8 apartments).
If location is important to you, this really is ideal.
I appreciate that its a bit cheeky to advertise an unfurnished place, but if I wait till the end of June, it will be too late !
As such, the rent is only £120 per week...
Please contact me for more info and photos.
Regards
Gus

Re: 2 bed apartment, centre of Turgutreis
Phew, what a week!
My friend and I managed to furnish the apartment, from top to bottom, and I'm glad to declare the apartment is now fully ready.
All the basic essentials are available, including:
aircon, fans in the rooms, washing machine, BBQ, deck chairs, porch table and chairs, DVD player, MP3/CD music player, and satellite with a mindwobbling 950 channels!
Tansas convenience store is across the road and the saturday market is on the doorstep - quite literally. I forgot to move my car the night before and it was surrounded by stalls on saturday morning. I wasnt exactly popular when I made 2 stall owners move all their gear to allow me to retrieve the car in time to make my flight!
The pool was absolute magic in the soaring heat which Im told was over forty degrees celcius, especially the first few days when we had to survive without AC.
Apparently Bodrum was 55 degree celcius on Wednesday!
I've updated the ad with new photos on the rental website which can be seen at : http://www.crescentholidayrentals.c...erties/CP77.htm
The new prices include a cleaning charge before each visit, which I overlooked the first time.
Below is a picture of the pool.
I wanna go back......

Re: 2 bed apartment, centre of Turgutreis
Hi Carol
We had a fantastic time, too short though! Anyway, if things go to plan, we'll be out there in october again, this time with the wife and new addition to the family!
I'm guessing you're referring to Peter and his wife? (whose name has slipped my mind!)
I dont suppose you've heard any news via Peter about his upstairs neighbour who fell off the balcony? The last I heard was that he broke his back, pelvis, leg, arm, crushed his skull and is now in a coma!
I shiver when I see those dodgy ladders being used everywhere - a few pieces of battons nailed onto cracked timber. It wouldnt surprise me if 100's of construction workers die falling from height in Turkey every year. Driving around in April, I didnt see a single proper ladder being used, or any edge protection on half-finished buildings. Scary stuff......
Take care, see you in Ocober!
