Hi Kaily and welcome to TLF. I'm sure some of the lovely people from Bodrum/Gumbet area will be along shortly to say hello. Hopefully you will soon meet some friends, I bet it is quite lonely in the winter for you.

Welcome again Kaily

Hi Kaily,

Welcome to the forum.

It seems as though the place goes to sleep in winter, I was in Gumbet last Febuary and it was like a ghost town. I know of a dutch girl (Ingrid) that lives in Bitez with her Turkish boyfriend (Taha). If you can pm me with an email address I can ask her to contact you. They run a small business helping us foreigners who have bought properties in Turkey. One way or another I am sure someone can point you in the right direction.
