Hi newby hear

Hi All Ive been looking through this site for a couple of nights and found it really good so thought that I would join.
My name is David and I have a wife Angela and two boys Dan and James. We live in Ingleby Barwick(Spam city), Stockton .
We have just bought a ground floor apartment at Carpe diem near Yalikavak.
We are going back out on monday 19th May to hopefully check the snagging and buy the furnishings. Can anybody recomend which stores to us.
Has anybody else bought in carpe diem and if so what do they think of the place and have they had any good or bad experiences.

Many thanks David

Welcome to the Forum David. As Harem says, this forum is a mine of info. It can be quite entertaining too when a few feathers get ruffled. Mag and I are at Blue Marina Apartments,Yalikavak. When you go around shops it will drive you up the wall that they dont put prices on things. If I did it again ,I would pay a Turk to do the buying for me.
Have fun and enjoy your property. Have you noticed that " Luckycat " Who owns Morgul Antik restaurant in Yalikavak Has get togethers occasionally. I dont know if she is due to have one soon?? Best wishes Pete & Mag

Re: Hi newby hear

hi shacko and Welcome

Yep we are on carpe diem too, we are very pleased with our apartment, I've put a bit of info about the complex in a pm to you.

We used lynne's (above) services to furnish our apartment, we couldn't face the driving and we don't like shopping or haggling so she was the ideal choice and we were really glad we did, we had everything done in a couple of days. We have kept in touch with Lynne and value her friendship - I think that say it all.

It has stood up well to the weather and the gardens are looking beautiful. our kids love playing in the front garden it was the garden's size that impressed us when we first looked. We met your next door neighbour last August, there are some lovely people on the complex, including a family who live around the corner from us here!

Hi Shako I don't know Carpe Diem but I do know Ingleby Barwick.

Welcome to the forum - sounds like your new apartment is in a good spot.
