Hello all, I have just joined this forum,
I have lived in the Gocek area for nearly 6 years.

Hi there! I'm new, just joined as I'm off to Turkey in a couple of weeks! First time since 1996 - I wonder what's changed! I just want to learn as much about Turkish life as I can before I go. I can't claim to totally understand and fit in with the "natives" but it's only polite to try and learn a bit of the language and some of the customs before visiting a country! So many Brits travel in ignorance and It doesn't take a lot of effort to be polite! [/B][/I] So what's changed in the last 12 years then?? Jules

Hi Jules and welcome. As for your question I think that one could write a book on the changes in Turkey the last 12 years....lol. What area are you going to?
