Hi to all,
Im oldboyracer, and my other half is erindoors,we decided to join the forum, because we,like so many of you out there love Turkey, especially Altinkum. We are now into our second property, the first was a two bed apt close to Gimma, we sold that last sept and now own a three bed villa on a small sitesi just past didim, near to mavisehir, We think thats how its spelt.It is built on the side of a hill which gives us lovely sea veiws to the front, and to the side we have uninterupted views over open countryside. We are hoping to be going out on the 14/15 May. incidently, if anyone wants to fly from Stanstead to Bodrum on the 14th May, I know a travel agent that is selling seats for £175 return, thats a whole one pound cheaper than the discount price being offered on another forum similar to this one.

thanks for your best wishes Lorraine, Im sure eventually we will get some peacefull holidays out there, but we still have the garden to finish, and then, just to cap it off, our daughter and her husband have bought one half a dozen doors away, so it could be back spending more time in builders yards etc, than time on the beach. I know which I would prefere. ( a builders yard any day lol )

welcome to the forum we are a little bit futher back from you near the mosque and school by the club tarhan, keeping the house there but having our new villa built on the marti site. many of us here have met already in altinkum and plan to meet up again if possible for a sherbert or two

Did not realise that you were selling your apartment and buying a villa, my dream, working on Ray, he wants to have at least one holiday in the one we have just now. We go out the 5th June for two weeks so will miss you this time around. Have you any pics yet of your new place ??
